Why Choose Willows Vets?

We aren't the only vets in Northwich - so why choose us? Find out how we aim to be the best vet for you and your pet.

We understand that choosing a vets can be hard – your pet is a part of your family and you want the very best for them. At the end of the day as Vets, Nurses, and Veterinary Support Staff we all love pets and want to provide them with excellent health care. So when all vets are promising the same, how do you pick the right vet for you?

At Willows we believe it’s the little things that really can make a big difference. We aim to make every pet’s experience at the vets a pleasant one for all involved and it’s with this in mind that we have adopted our four key principles; Experience, Expertise, Care, and Empathy.

You can place trust in our experience. We have been part of the community in Hartford for over 50 years, and as you can imagine in that time have seen a lot of pets. As an established veterinary hospital, our extensive team is made up of experienced and knowledgeable vets, nurses and support staff. Our team are able to liaise with each other to diagnose and treat our patients effectively and efficiently. Our experience is recognised by our governing body and we are currently accredited with a Tier 3 Hospital Status from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon - the highest possible accolade.

Our team is dedicated to providing your pet with the very best care - but what does this mean? At the Willows Veterinary Hospital, it means investing in and nurturing our staff to be the very best. Our vets and nurses are continually striving to up date their knowledge, skills, and techniques. In addition, we have access to our on site referral centre, Oakwood Veterinary Referrals. With consultants in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, dermatology and cardiology we have access to some great knowledge.

We believe at the Willows Veterinary Group, it's sometimes the little things we do that really show we do care. It might just be giving an apprehensive dog some extra praise when they have done really well, or that a cat has a preference for being handled in a certain way. We also aim to extend this same level of care to you, the owner.

If you get a chance to take a look at our 'Meet the Team' page, one thing is certain - the Willows Hospital team are passionate pet owners. That means that sometimes we are on the other side of the receptionist desk as clients ourselves. We understand how stressful and upsetting it can be if your beloved four legged family member becomes unwell or injured. With this in mind, our team believes showing empathy is extremely important to your experience at the practice.
